His username is AmJustBetterNOOBS you guys can check his games. I don't think he was cheating probably got false banned. He doesn't have a fide rating so he was anxious if he is going to get his account back. But he plays local tournaments and is genuinely a good player. He wants to talk to a human from the support to whom he can explain everything. He has submitted his appeal but no response from chess.com yet. Thanks for the help.

Yes. He should just wait for the appeal. I don't think they will talk with him. They will just take another look at the games.

You should know that they only reverse about 1 in 1000. They only ban when they are 99.99% sure.

He can make a different account while he makes his appeal. When you report someone for cheating, they don’t usually look at the games. They look at how many games he won, his streak, and how many reports and other stuff. If someone teams up and false reported, you can report them, but be careful. My coach got banned just because it was just opening theory.

That is incorrect. They look at the games. Number of wins or other reports have no bearing on being closed. Someone being reported thousands of times isn't going to result in an account closure for fair play, unless the fair play staff determine it is warranted.

Following known openings also won't get someone banned, unless they were looking up opening lines while paying a live game, which is not allowed.

Making another account, without approval, is likely to result in the new account getting closed.
