After the last upgrade of a few days ago I have a new item/listing on my home page intitled "My Status". Can some one tell me what it is and what it is used for if anything.

It's the same as it is on Facebook - just a way of letting your friends know what's going on... you can simultaneously explain something to everyone you're playing with, like: "I'm at work" or "I'm away from the comp for a bit" or whatever.
