New Leagues feature on iPhone app

Just installed latest iPhone app update which includes the Leagues feature. Problem is, the menu option to use this feature is nowhere to be found. How do you access this feature from within the App?

Leagues have not been released site wide yet. It was supposed to happen today but there were some site issues and will release tomorrow instead at 12 pm Pacific time (8 pm UTC).

My understanding is that games played on any interface should count towards leagues.

for sure there is no indication of +XX on the result popup when you win like we have on Android and on the web. Did I miss something?

I'm not sure. The help article says it only works on the web, but I was told interface didn't matter. It's possible the iOS app hasn't been updated to show the trophies after games.
