Sometimes the page opens up on the same page sometimes a new page it shouldn't make a difference though.

It does make a difference because my board is super small, and I can't change the size of it.

Okay, so I was going on Live Chess and instead of the usual page opening up, I was still on Chess.com, but a new page didn't open up. I noticed that at the top, the web address was the same, but it had this in it: simple?
Is this some kind of update I didn't notice?
