No rating refunds

How do the rating refunds work when your opponents get banned?

I have never received a singular point back even though I can go through my games list and there are dozens of red circles and people banned for fair play. Is this a bug or normal?

idk where ur seeing dozens of ppl banned lol that's a massive exaggeration otherwise yeah
i scrolled and checked ur game history all the way till december 2025 and there's like around 11 fairplay bans 
you've drawn against 2 such ppl, won against 6, lost against 3, and the other 2 are abuse bans
abuse related bans ofc have nothing to do w/ rating refunds
and those 6 games you won again has nothing to do w/ rating refunds
for those 4-5 games that resulted in a loss/draw if you havent received a refund then you shld prolly contact support through chessica bot though that bot is lwk unhelpful but yeah

"Dozens". Look your issue is valid and all but please refrain from giving wrong stats because there are already a lotttt of users who blame chess.com just because they're on a massive tilt or something, and by posting that you have 'dozens' of uncompensated losses, that just feeds their delusions and makes the forums/community more toxic.

Some are due to the games being too far back, some because an opponent was closed due to games in a different pool than the ones you played them in.
