I too have not gotten the 3d award despite using the “real 3d” chess set. For a while I thought the variants awards weren’t working either, turns out I had to play variants through the tournament listing. Please do send me a friend request for the 100 friends award. Also, comment on my most popular forum post. It’s on my profile. (For the 100 forum post comments award) And I’ll try to give you an award/cheer for the 100 gift awards.

To get variants awards, you do not have to join a tournament. Just go to Play - Custom Challenge and select a variant from the drop down list. Playing here unlocks every one except the 4 player chess achievement.

I too have not received the awards 'Dangerous Intersection' or 'Battle Royal' for playing games of 4-player chess.
Didnt even realize it till I saw this post then went and checked.
Now I see I also failed to receive the 'Contender' award for joining a tourney.

How do you know there is an award given for breaking 1000 elo on the daily time controls?
I too have recently broken 1000, and I havnt received any award for it, only one for breaking 900. I didnt know there was an award for breaking 1000 though

? uhh I just sent them a friend request on chess.com and google said once you sent friend request to someone on chess.com and they accept it you get the award but I did not get it?

You must press "invite friends" under your friends page but they do not need to accept it just needs to be sent to an existing email address
I'm also missing a few awards, including some flags from countries I've played
