Not working with Apple Watch

Hi there. I'm attempting to get this to work with my watch, and it won't work. I've tried starting new games from it, but none ever start. When I first open the app in the watch it says something about not being able to connect to the network. What am I doing wrong?

Who told you that the chess.com app worked on the apple watch?
The Apple Watch app that I have installed on the Apple Watch
I know there is a chess app for the watch but I didn't think it came from chess.com.
I have the same problem with Apple Watch app include original chess application from chess.com
i can only one button on watch to made a call but nobody answer and there are no sync with existing chess games on Apple Watch

Offers Apple Watch App for iPhone"
But it does not work, "No Network (unknown)" error
Maybe just provides notifications?

When I first got the app, it didn't work - throwing the "No Network Unknown" error... and then it started to work and, up until reasonably recently, the app for the watch used to load up an image of the board when someone played a move.
As of today, when I load the app I get the "No Network Unknown" error message again.
Same here! I have the same problem on Apple Watch. I don't understand why this app is there if is not working? "Error fetching data" is always displayed.

I sent the thread to support but they advised no updates. Their recommendation (internally) is to remove the app from the store as it has not worked for so long.
