Odd chess board issue

The incorrect pieces load in my chess games, in correspondence and live chess. My rooks are often knights and kings are often pawns. In one of my games, the opponent has 3 bishops. Not sure what's up with this O.o

Update: Apparently this is only occuring on firefox for me, but it seems to work on chrome. I have never had issues with firefox before, though, so this is a new issue. Think I will eventually be able to use firefox for chess.com again, so should I just stick to chrome for this particular site?

I have all my add-ons and features with firefox is all, so I try to use firefox when I can get away with it xD

A few nights ago I played against a player whose knight jumped from g1 to c6 on the second move.

I love these bugs on Chrome.

A funky bug and suddenly you have mate in 1, lol. Well, I'm sure a staff member has noticed, so eventually they'll get to work on it and prevent this from becoming too much of a chat thread.

Ikusa0tome,

You say you have add-ons in firefox? Could you try disabling them and seeing if this resolves the issue?

Add-ons can sometimes cause some very strange issues with live chess.

It didn't seem to resolve the issue. Instead of fixing it, it just changed what random pieces appeared. Instead of 3 bishops in a game now I have 2 kings. Same thing with other games.

Did you disable ALL the add-ons?

Also, try a cache and cookie clear.

The only add-on I didn't disable was something for security that I wasn't comfortable turning off. Otherwise everything else was disabled. I'll try the cache clear, though.

Looks like it maybe was that security thing I had. I disabled it just to check. But I also cleared my cache and cookies both, so maybe a combination of the two. This is the first time I've ever had the issue, so not sure if I should just expect to need to always have that security add-on disabled or if there is a small bug that will get resolved soon.

I think I got it under control now. Sorry about that. Thank you.

@rawtraff - Have you tried a cache clear?
