on demand question

Hopefully i'm asking this question in the right place.  I'm not sure if this happens for anyone else, but i find that the on demand function only seems to work half of the time.  Sometimes, i'll get half of a show and then a few different things will happen: the video freezes but the audio continues, or the whole thing blacks out.  Is this a common issue, or something on my end, and if it's me, is there anything i can do to correct it?    thx

Its not you :)  Sometimes the broadcast being recorded doesn't record properly so isn't viewable or there was a hiccup in the recording of it  :(
