So I had an idea, to do some puzzles, but after three rated puzzles the system tells me to get premium to do more. I’m pretty sure it used to be five, and not three puzzles.
Was this in the latest update?
It should be five as far as I'm aware. Did you do a puzzle battle before that maybe?

But when I did puzzles, I got 5 yesterday. There was one more because it was a 'pending' puzzle.
Is it some sort of glitch? Or a bug?

Maybe the change just happened yesterday after you had done your tactics.

It has nothing to do with rating. I found out it is related to some testing but based on the help articles, it looks like the plan may be to have it be at 3 a day; the change may only be on newer accounts for now though.
I also heard it used to be 5 a day, but then it changed to 3. Today I got 4 for some reason, not sure if it was changed again.

Maybe it's some glitch idk. Chess.com servers are very busy these days so it could be just some bug.

If you're getting puzzles with pending rating then those don't count towards the daily limit

Pending rating puzzles are ones that are relatively new to the database and don't have a stable rating yet.
but i may not be getting those puzzles so frequently
