My opponent in the game http://www.chess.com/echess/game.html?id=28928704 is OUT OF TIME, and has been in this state for several hours, but has not yet lost the game. He is not on vacation. I notice that he has another game in the same situation.

Maybe your Dutch defence was the reason he left. He realized there was no move he could play to counter it.
