Paragraph Spacing

Sort:

Just an observation:

I've noticed that I need to double-space my paragraph breaks to keep them from all running together.  In other words, it takes two carriage returns just to get a single carriage return between paragraphs in a posting.  This might be a bug.

that makes absolutely no sense what so ever

Yeah, it is hard to explain.  Here, look at this:

Paragraph #1: yada yada yada

Paragraph #2: yada yada yada

See that single line space between the two paragraphs?  Well, I had to hit "return" twice to get that single line.  If I didn't, I would get this:

Paragraph #1: yada yada yada

Paragraph #2: yada yada yada

See the difference?  I think it has to do with how the formating for a post is different when you are editing it versus when you have published it.

i see your point... but then again in microsoft word it does that... so you can really see my point as well... although it does get tiring on the eye because sometimes you cant see the distinction between parpagraphs...

Somehow I suspect an intentional bug, to prevent the over zealous expending an entire page with their boring submissions.

It doesn't seem to matter how many lines I add when commenting from my iPad. It all gets strung together in one line. :(

Is this a Mac/UNIX line breaks thing?
