Pawn Move Glitch

I’m not sure how to explain this, but my pawn was at c7 and I moved it to c5. Their pawn was at b5 and they moved it to b6, and that apparently took out my pawn at c5. How??? Glitch, yes?
Sorry, I meant to say... they moved it from b5 to c6, and that apparently took out my pawn at c5.

Not a glitch. It's called en passant.
