This option below to send payment via Paypal in the email "order@chess.com", how long for the site to update after sending the payment?
There appears to be quite a backlog in the support area. Based on the posts other people have made here, it may be that a new membership would take 1-2 weeks to process at this point.

Paypal here in Brazil requires having a credit card to make international payments. So here in Brazil, the only viable payment method is via credit card.
Chess.com also offers to send payment via correspondence, but honestly I don't think it is reliable (I mean the companies that transport, it is very dangerous to carry money or check or a money order.
So if you have a credit card you pay for the card, as I did a few times or you will not have other safe alternatives.
I am a math teacher here in Brazil and I started teaching again this week, I believe that in March or April, I can get a credit card to be able to solve this problem, but honestly I think it is shameful for chess.com to only have this form of payment, how many people are in the same situation as mine, have the money and want to pay and can't.
