.pgn files

How do I upload a game or a unfinished game from a .pgn file format to study or practice on the www.chess.com site.

You can post games to the forum by clicking on the little chessboard icon at the far left just above the "Post your reply" box, choose "Game or sequence of moves" and then paste in the pgn.  There is a Game Analysis forum for posting your own games for others to comment on.

Great! It looks like chess.com is a site with full of amazing features...

and what about uploading a .pgn file strait away from my hard disk from a pop-up window asking which folders to look for before selecting the right file...????

That would be even beter!

The insert game dialog is I think the only way they have right now.  You can suggest new features in the Chess.com Community forum.
