Phantom Friend Requests

1. In live chess, I received 2 friend requests (but did not see them).
2. On the main home page (http://www.chess.com/home), I refreshed, and saw the two friend requests.
3. Back in live chess, I navigated to the console, saw the two friend requests, and accepted them.
4. I navigated back to the main home page.

Expected behavior: I would not see any more friend requests in the header

Actual behavior: I see "2" in red. Clicking on it takes me to http://www.chess.com/home/friends, where there are no pending friend requests. Going back to the main home page I still see the "2" in red.

In red? ;-)

Now it has disappeared. Thank you for your help!

I think Chess.com caches certain data, like the group membership numbers you see on your home page.
