Pieces slow to drag

When i drag any of the pieces when I play the pieces drag slow and lag behind my curser. It never used todo this until now. Any advice? I've tried reopening my chrome browser, restarting pc, nothing works.

Did you try to clear your browser cache?

You can also see if it happens with a different browser on the same device, like Firefox or Edge.

I cleared cache and it fixed it, but I hate having to relog into all my accounts online, is there no way around this?

Maybe your browser gives you some other options besides clearing everything? It's hard to say - all of them accumulate stuff over time that slows them down, especially if you're visiting a lot of different sites.
