Play from a position?

I just made a stupid error with the user interface. There are two pawns next to each other, and I accidentally moved the wrong one (both are taking moves). It was obvious what the next move would be, so I just did it and confirmed without thinking, not realizing I'd made the wrong move. The game was shaping up very evenly, and I'm annoyed to ruin it in this way. I'd like to propose that I resign and that we continue with a friendly game from the previous position (to see how it would have turned out). Is there any way to do that with chess.com?

Depends. From Daily, yes. When creating a Custom Challenge you can change the Type to Custom FEN

Just put the FEN of the position you want to play from and choose the appropriate color you want to play as.
