Playing on a phone

Sort:

I've just bought a new phone (a Motorola Dext). I can make some moves on chess.com (e.g. captures) but most others I can't. Am I doing something obviously wrong?

Any suggestions welcome,

Gordon

i used to play from my iPhone using safari and it was a bit buggy at times but with the chess.com app on iPhone most of the time everything works well.  i don't know this phone you're using so i'm not really sure what's happening.  sorry.

Thanks for the prompt reply. The phone I'm using is an Android phone, a kind of iphone copy. I didn't know about the chess.com app. Maybe it works with Android. Thanks again (and I like the scouser blood! Are you a croupier?)

i'm actually a high school english teacher...  i am pretty sure there is an app for chess.com for android.  i'd suggest getting the app and skipping using your web browser to make your moves.  my scouser blood comes from my mom.  she emigrated from england to california...  i was born in california.

Thanks. Found the app, and downloaded it. Now just have to install on phone. (And I was a high school English teacher for 28 years).
