The new format of enlarging the piece you put your finger on can make it very difficult to move it to the place you intended it to go. I have recently had many pieces end up on the wrong square because of this system and then lose the game. Can we please go back to the old system!!!

An option is to login on browser, then select "Desktop mode" ... that outta solve certain annoyances

On the Android app there a is a setting under More > Settings > Game where that can be turned off.

I don't have iOS but my guess if it exists it is on a setting menu.
