you just got your first one!! they are a measure of your activity on the site. they do NOT, however, reflect your ability to use the "search bar" to look for questions like "what are points?" that have already been asked 1,000,000 times... :D just teasing sorry! i couldn't help myself...
What are points? How do you get them?
