problem with game time

the time is out and I was have around 9 minutes left in my time why this time is out if I have 9 minutes?, and now I loss the game for time is not good because I even have more time in limit that my opponent, dont understand why this happend anyone here can explain me'

I did not see the game nor can I reconstruct the timing, but if you stall / delay moving long enough, your game will be closed out with a loss.

no, the problem was I move more faster than my opponent and also was have 9 minutes left in my time when time is out, I never see a thing like this in chess.com but feel me bad because I loss 7 points in a game that can win
