Problems playing since a few day
I have the same problem since about a week also. I am in Munich. The login will work fine, but after that the play live page will either not charge at all or let me just start a game before disconnecting.
My connection is fine and I tried different compouters and different browsers, the problem remain. I still have no answer from Technical Support

I'm getting something similar in England! Lots of games aborted, lots of disconnections, lots of failed attempts to get games going . . .

Here also. Have this problems since a week. I tried Opera, IE and Firefox, have a 15K DSL, no annoying extra firewall or antivir, deleted the cookies and the broswer cache, deleted restarted and reinstalled java, launched a deep scan of my virus scanner, but still no connection to live chess.
The first screen appears with standard settings on the board, after that, only the loading sign is visible.No new software installed within the last week, also no settings changed.
This loading also effects other software on my computer and slows it down. The ping is 225ms to live.chess.com.
Hardware is ok, a 1 year old PC, Logitech wireless keyboard and gamer mouse with razor pad.
I tried to force this problem on other websites, but without success.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys...i almost thought i am alone....i do have exactly the problems as u guys describe..It frightens me to hear that even premium player are affected.... Is there maybe any problem with thee security software we share? I use Kaspersky Internet Security............Could someone from the staff please make a statement...i mean europe is a big market and some support would be really appreciated!! :)

I dont think the security software is the reason, cause I tried with and without ant with Lavasoft additionally. Cleaned the registry also and optimized the internet connection meanwhile.

You should send a request to Technical Support, the more they receive the faster they will react. I am having the same problem, but I tried with a UMTS connection and the problem disapperas, so it seems to have something to do with the internet connection (although I do not understand what it could possibly be)
Just live chess, the rest is fine. I am reading of many other from Germany with the same problem also.
I think it is an issue with Deutsche Telekom as a provider, when I use other pèroviders the problem disappears

Problem for me is that I can speak German, but I cannot read it so I cannot read the pages on the Deutsche Telekom pages to see if they have posted about a connection problem.
I cannot helkp unfortunately, I am Italian, Ijust live in Germany but I do not speak German either
maybe you should ask to one of the members who speaks German

I am also online with Telekom, but I thought changing the DNS Server would help.
It does not...
All other international websites I know are fine, also.
Hi guys. I am from germany too and have the exact same problem. I contacted the support and they told me it is an issue with some german servers supporting this site. They are aware of the problem and working on it. So I guess we can all hope that it will be working again in a couple of days or something.

Also Deutsche Telekom (T home) here an Iuse a very fast connection vdsl 50 Mbit...........Telekom is one of the biggest or the biggest ISP Provider in Germany so i guess this will affect a whole lot of people.....anyway hope to get some news soon...btw i searched the telekom forums but didnt find anny chess.com related issues

since like 7 days i almost cant connect to chess.com via facebook......i didnt change anything on my pc and have a quite huge conection >5 mb .............sometimes it says like the chess.com server isnt available and sometimes i go to games but have a huge lag.it almost cost me like 50 points on blitz....which doesnt really matter but is there any way to cope with that...im located in Berlin....so i dont think that this matters and im a non subsriber.........thx for ur answers cheers
