I've noticed this too. It momentarily makes me go "huh?" and then I move on. Would be nice if it was fixed.

Whenever you promote in a puzzle, the window.location is taken to '#' (ie. the top of the page). Not a big deal, but sort of annoying and an easy fix by returning false.
