puzzle battle keeps saying "finding match" in mobile app

I recently started a puzzle battle on the iOS app, and it kept saying that it's finding a match, so I pressed cancel. Then I played a few matches, took a break, and when I reopened the app it displayed a puzzle battle match where I couldn't move any pieces. My rating was lowered, and I reached my daily limit, even though the app didn't tell me the match started!

I’m having a similar problem for the past few days with iOS app. It says finding, and when I cancel and then go back, the match already started..
