just a simple question, do the rating numbers we all have on this website correspond themselves with any official rating?

Ratings are supposed to be an estimate of strength, Chess.com ratings have no official value, but you can use it as a halfway decent estimate of your streangth in case you dont yet have a FIDE rating, chess.com uses essentially the same elo system FIDE uses with a few changes like, super high K values for beginners and uniform K for all users after a number of games. How your chess.com rating compares to FIDE rating is a tricky question, there are distortions at the extremes, for people 1200-2000 a decent estimate is to add 100 to your standard ranting(assuming you have a fair number of games in that category, if not you can use blitz rating for an even less accurate estimate), above or below that range big distortions can happen and the estimate is pretty useless.

Despite what drunkingreatness says, Chess.com does not use the ELO system "with a few changes".

Chess.com uses the Glicko system. You can read all about it- Chess Ratings- How they work

And they don't correspond very well to other ratings.
