Ok the pop ups and ads are annoying but I CAN'T STAND the ads that start playing a video with audio (the axe commercial??) without me clicking play ...... I'm trying to listen to music or play a video of my own. I really do not appreciate that when I visit this website it has such a distracting ad that interrupts what other activities I have on my computer.
can someone please remove these particular ads .. I'd take the pop ups over the self starting video clips. PLEASE GET RID OF THE AXE COMMERCIAL. SUPER ANNOYING.

ultra .... well ... exactly. I understand that when you pay things are better. I'm just not that dedicated to chess, but I like the site and I like playing here. I tolerate the pop ups but axe video drives me nuts. the ads are so annoying that I just close chess.com when I'd really like to stay and play.
since I don't like it, I "get out of here" and just leave the site to avoid the problem.

And morover: I CANT SCROLL THE PAGE ANYMORE since these adds where installed. If I refresh the page about 10 times, and i start scrolling before the add loads [-> the scrollbar IS there in the beginning], then sometimes it stays there.
SO, fix it !!! What is this? A chess-site or a marketplace?!
