@ Gynko, OP, when I first logged onto Chess.com, I used my real name and real photo. Lucky I got good advice to stop doing that. Now I don't even use my real country. (Chess.com programming insists I not leave that field blank.). I am glad I do. There are a LOT of predators, crazy people, and people with anger issues on Chess.com. More than any forum website I have been to. My advice is for NO ONE to disclose real personal information publicly on this website, and only limited real personal information in their trusted groups.

Well, I tend to agree somewhat with LadyMisil. Perhaps things are somewhat different for women than it is for men. I have encountered my fair share of stalkers and even death threats on this site. But like anywhere on the internet. There should be some anonymity.
