Server aborts my games

Anyone know why the server would continually abort my games? I've tried to play all evening but just get "game aborted by server." I've been a chesscom member since 2007.

I did not face this problem as yet but one of my chess students says that it is happening to him after latest update of software.

Me too.  As a brand new member, I don't get it.  A few of my games have automatically been aborted and then my account was penalized for disconnecting too many times, which I'd never done. It sounds like a chronic malfunction of Chess.com that needs to be addressed.

I have been evaluating this too. I won't join if it is like today where every 4th game is aborted. My connection is fast.

Me too... Playing on ipad, and about every 4th game is aborted and lost.

No point in keep on playing...

I read another post from staff saying if either party doesn't move in 15-20 seconds for bullet/blitz, the server kills the game. I think this is heavy handed and it should be up to the player to abort. Maybe the staff is trying to match up connections that are both without delay?
