Thanks. Can you give us some indication of how long you expect it to take to fix the problem?
We believe the problems are now fixed. Are you able to login to the Live Chess now? Please let us know as soon as possible. Thank you!

I have received the "server unavailable" message now for three days. My computer is using Explorer. However, earlier today I did succeed in logging in with another computer (also using Explorer). Hence the problem seems to be related to the way the server recognizes a computer? Or is it the case that there is a server problem?
During the past 3 days, I have tried constantly to log on to live chess but have consistently received the same "server unavailable" message. I use firefox as my browser but I have had the same problem with IE as well. Unfortunately, living in Iran, I can't download google chrome (I get a "export denied" message when I try), even though some posters mentioned that they didn't have any problems logging on to live chess with google chrome.
For most of you who don't live in a country under US et al sanctions, there are many other sites you can move to play if the problem persists. But besides its many other advantages and great features, chess.com is the only site that I have been able to join where its live chess program does not require downloading some feature (e.g., Jawa) which can't be downloaded from Iran. Hence, the problem is more acute for me than for most of you, which is why I am adding a new thread on the topic despite the fact that I have noticed other threads mentioning the problem as well.
