Change in live chess settings before entering live chess. Then go into live chess play your games. If you keep going back and forth between live chess and settings to see if they saved, it may keep un-checking. It can take a few minutes to register the new settings changed in the settings page. Also please make sure you click on 'save changes' after making any adjustments in your settings page.
