For your problem #2 this has happened to me before but I have no idea why.
If I am paying attention, then I just gobble up the free points.
3 things.
1) I can do 25 problems per day. Is there anywhere I can see how many are left for the day/how many I've done?
2) Today, during my 25 problems, the same position came up 3 times. I noted the number after the 3rd time: Problem ID: 0020766. I suspect the same position exists with multiple numbers, as I did not recognise the comments 2nd time rond.
3) Yesterday my TT rating really got nailed. I seemed to get very little reward for correct solutions, and lost a lot for incorrect ones. Today was more like normal, I'll slowly have to regain my 180 lost rating points....
