tech support issue

For the last couple of days, whenever I go into live chess and start a game, after about two minutes my computer's engine starts whining like crazy and my game becomes extremely slow.  So slow that I've lost a ton of games on time because of a lag.  Any idea what this is?  It NEVER did this before.  I have a Mac.

I wonder if there's some connectivity issue with chess.com?  It could be my computer, but this issue only exists on this site, not on any other chess website, or any other website.

Sounds like a video card fan, mine does that all the time... in fact I'm looking for a new laptop now!  Unless you're using a desktop then it's the power supply.  Computer repair guys can replace those easy.

Get some canned air and blow it out.
