Wonder if your Chrome problem is related to the GlobalSign issue from about 6 months ago? You might try this.

For the last six months I can't open the site on Chrome and Safari on Mac. It can work for a few days, but most of the time it doesn't work. I'am attaching below screenshots from Chrome and then from Safari. I tried to clean cash, but it doesn't help.
Could you please advice me how this problem could be solved?
