Temporary Restriction?

Could a member of staff please remove my chat restriction? I know it's there for the safety of new members but I'd like the freedom to chat without hindrance. Thanks in advance

The restriction is temporary. I think you have to wait several days.

I think the restriction is in the wrong  place. They should have the restriction on the forums. That's where new members come in and spam. ( I don't mean you. Practically every night, the forum is filled with spam that appears to come from India.)

It takes several days for them reply to you via email though. I was hoping this way would be at least faster
