TERRORIST

Dear Chess.com Support, I am writing to formally report a case of harassment I experienced on your platform. A user recently called me a "terrorist" during a game, which is deeply offensive and distressing. This accusation is not only baseless but also particularly painful for me, as I have friends who have been injured in terrorist attacks. Such language has no place in a community that promotes fair play and respect. Furthermore, I am extremely disappointed with the response (or lack thereof) from the moderator **Nelissa**. When I reported this incident, she failed to take appropriate action, allowing the offending user to continue participating without consequence. This lack of enforcement undermines the integrity of Chess.com’s community standards and creates an unsafe environment for users. I urge you to take this complaint seriously by reviewing the incident and ensuring that appropriate actions are taken against both the user who harassed me and the moderator who neglected their duty. Chess.com should be a space where players feel safe and respected, and I hope to see real measures taken to uphold these values. HOW CAN YOU ALLOW TERRORIST HARRASHMENT AND NOT BAN THE USER?? A USER THAT HAS NOT REGRETTED???? NELISSA, HOW CAN YOU GET SALARY FOR THAT?? JUST COME INTO MY SITUATION!!!!! COME ON!!!!

Hey @Kuwaitito 👋

I’m really sorry to hear what you’ve gone through — being called something as serious as "terrorist" is completely unacceptable, and I hope Chess.com investigates it properly. That said, I just want to offer a bit of perspective — I’ve dealt with @nelissatt through Support a couple of times, and in my experience, she’s been fair, respectful, and helpful. She’s also a WCM, which shows a certain level of integrity and dedication to chess.

Of course, that doesn’t mean your experience is invalid — just that maybe something went wrong in how it was handled, or it’s still in process. I’d encourage you to keep your messages clear and respectful if you follow up again — it’ll help your case get taken seriously and improve the chance that real action is taken.

Hope it gets sorted for you.

As you can notice, I have not played again , WHILE THE PLAYER WHO CALLED ME TERRORIST IS STILL PLAYING!!!!!!!!!!! , You have a serious issue regarding who is right and who is not.

I have nothing against Melissa herself, just to clarify, I guess she follows some internal rules and appreciate a lot that she is WCM indeed.

TERRORIST, murder, rapist and others, are very serious issues that could even have legal consequences, and you are doing nothing against it. I could even go to trial to get his data from youu, his personal data.

I have people being killed by terrorist attacks.

I guess you would be angry if you get an attack on your disability, well, I get angry when I get an attack over a situation that has killed people that I shared something with them.

I hope you understand and finally DO SOMETHING to the other user.

Lichess is mu option and you can ban me now, as I will continue posting about this situation

I don‘t know if chess.com can see texts written in chats after a game is finished. I find that once I leave a game and come back, chat is always empty, at least it is on my ipad. As to mentioned name calling I am very sorry this happened to you.😏

I bet that they can. If they can't, that would be extremely dumb programming. It would mean that anyone can say anything in game chat and there never will be any proof.

MODERATORS , If you really had a serious intention of resolving this issue, you would only have to ask the user to apologize, and if they don't apologize for calling me a terrorist, expel them from ches.com. If they apologize, we could even close this issue.

Easy and simple
