The statistics on the website does not make any sense

Three days ago, I was ranked around 300,000th in the world with 1750 Elo, and now I'm supposedly 4,000th in the world with 1800. So the website wants me to believe that only 4,000 players performed better over the past 90 days? That makes absolutely no sense. How is it possible that it's always bugged like this? It's not new, I remember this feature being bugged since the time I signed up on the website
