this guys sandbagging me?

Hello. So I started a bunch of daily games and for some reason I got matched with a guy for 5 games who is a 1600 player playing at 1200 daily. He lost a bunch of his first games and got to 600 then now has a 90% win rate after 95 games... is this not sandbagging? I’m getting wrecked in all 5 games, obviously, because I’m playing a 1600 as a 1200. How is this fair chess? My rating is gonna get destroyed. 90% win rate is clearly not fair chess.

I don’t have any option to contact support on my phone and I’m sure the report feature does nothing until lots of people report. His name is aaroncraft42 in my game history if you wanna check it out or am I wrong here? This just doesn’t feel fair that I automatically lose 50+ elo just because chess.com decided to give me 5 games with this fake 1200. Any advice appreciated

The member started at 800 and it looks like the rating dropped through normal play. They played a bunch of unrated games and now are playing rated and getting a more accurate rating. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong and nothing reportable.

How is 90% win rate after 95 games normal gameplay? He’s clearly not at the right elo

The member doesn't have a 90%. Last 7 days it's 70% which isn't out of the ordinary for someone slightly unrated for sure

Yes he does. .90% win rate in daily. This isn’t fair chess to get 5 games with this guy.

Again, looking through the game history, there is nothing out of the ordinary. Lots of games against players sub-600, lots of short wins. High win rates in daily is not uncommon, especially when a player may be underrated for the format. When I looked yesterday, the last 7 win rate was 70% but has had a number wins yesterday which bumped it up.
