time-out percentage

It's been 5 days and no response from chess.com. Do you (chess.com) think that your default settings are doing "the right thing" here? The suggestion from @alexm2310 seems a practical possibility.

Did you write in to support directly? They don't always read these forums and one of the most active moderators is reportedly out for injury leave.

Even if they did read it, I don't know if they would grant a waiver. Or perhaps they did read it and the lack of any change indicates they didn't agree.

I'll try that. I can live with them not thinking my personal situation is worth their time, but I'd like them to consider changing the defaults going ahead.

The latest epiosde in this saga ... I tried to submit an email to chess.com support here https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new and repeatedly received the message "An error occurred, please try again later."

Be sure to copy your message and dump it in a text file, for easy reclamation later, when the system is working again.

It seems that a "%" in the subject line triggered the error. When I wrote it out as "percentage", the submission was accepted.
