Hi
I was unable to join tournaments do to my high timeout percentage of 13% , so I completed a lot more games to decrease it. Since then I've completed 4 games winning 3 and losing 1 by resignation. However, my time out percentage has increased to 14%, how could this be? Thank you :)
"Non-timeout games fall out of the 90 day window, leaving a relatively larger group of timed out games that all happened at once.
For established players, the non-timeout decisions that fall out of the 90 day window have to be replaced. Then more non-timeout decisions have to be added to reduce the percentage.
In practice only very new players, with few games, can play their way out of a high timeout percentage. Finishing a game is not countered by a non-timeout game falling out of the 90 day window. Usually players just have to wait out the 90 days for the timed out games to fall out of the calculation."
