GM - Grandmaster

WGM - Woman Grandmaster

IM - International Master

WIM - Woman International Master

FM - FIDE Master

/  WFM is not there. I'm not saying whether it should or shouldn't be there. I'm just noting that it's not in the list.

Who are you? What do you know about chess.com? My brother FM matej2221 is also here. Why you dont give diamonds to players with titles anymore?

Ofcourse wfm has rights to get diamond. Does chess.com has something against woman? If cm could get diamond. Or only you have something against woman?

Like I said, I don't care one way or the other.  I just copied what they have posted on the Help site. This wouldn't be the first time they have posted different things in different places on the site.

You are probably correct that it is a mistake on the site. I was just suggesting that somebody back in the office has to check your credentials when you submitted them and they probably work from a list like the one I copied.  There may have been a problem when they saw your application because the WCM and WFM titles were not on their list.

It is entirely possible that that list from the website needs to be updated. It was probably posted before FIDE started granting those titles.

However, Chess.com is a private business. And FIDE is a business. Neither is run by governments, so what they choose to grant or not grant in order to promote their sites or titles is not a matter of "rights". They don't have to give free memberships to anybody.

No. @notmtwain meant “elite” as in titled players, nothing to do with leagues. This forum is four years old so leagues didn’t exist then. Players with official titles can get the letters next to their name and free diamond membership.

There was some diamond giveaway to first 200 players to champion but I think that already happened.

There are no players in champion yet.

Yeah, I mixed up elite and champion.

This is not entirely true by the way, WFM or WCM also get free Diamond Membership, they are titled aren't they? Look up @beccrajoy .You'll thank me later.
