Touch screen play on chess.com?

I was not able to play chess on a touchscreen tablet on chess.com.  Can this be done?  If so how?  Thanks.

What troubles are you having playing on your tablet? What OS are you using?

Thanks.    I'm on a nook - OS don't know.  But pieces do not move when I touch / slide them.  I guess most systems do not have this problem.  

Nope, no problems using both iPad and iPhone for me.

Thanks.  I tried again - no luck plus I tried to play against the computer and Java won't load immediately on my Nook.  Anyone face this before?  If not I can probably check it out with Barnes & Noble.  

Do you have any trouble clicking the piece you'd like to move, and then the square you'd like to move it to?

Thanks - with a mouse on my desktop background becomes yellow highlight when clicked - no such manifestation on touch screen.  I started this because I thought there might be an app or something.  Just does not respond.  I may call Barnes tonight.  

I can pick up and move pieces for a few moves . . . Then it goes crazy and refuses to plck up anything. Any ideas on whats going on?
