If you are not in the Live interface when a round starts, the tourney will not pair you. If you stick around you should get paired the following round. At least, it used to work that way.
If you look at the tourney crosstable after the event, that round will be marked with a -
So I was playing a tournament game in round one.It was abandoned so it counted as a win. In the last game of round one ,some guy was losing and left the game to let his timer run out.I left chess.com and came back about ten minutes later. Round two had started,but I was not placed in a game. My score indicated 1/2,so it was as if I had a zero point bye or lost a game. I checked my recent games but my rating remained unchanged,so it seems like the tournament just didn't register me.What happened?
