Tournament Vacation

I am participating in the chess.com tourney on a 3 day timescale and I am top of my group, qualification looks good. I am due to go away on vacation on 30th October.

Will all of the games stay on vacation while I am away, even those where I play white (because technically it is my turn)?

Your question is because the tourney hasn't started yet?  Don't worry, that'll have no bearing (unless it is a no-vacation tournament)- whenever the tournament starts and the games get created, it'll still put you into auto-vacation when your time runs low.  Alternatively you can go into your online chess settings and turn vacation on before you leave and it'll have the same effect.  Because you've got almost a month of vacation time remaining, you might prefer to do this, the manual way, because you'll have more time to make your moves at your leisure when you return.

Thanks for the response. Yes, my question is because the second round has not started yet.

I am going to change my account to 'On Vacation' on 29th October, and I will be back playing chess on 15th November. I just wanted to make sure that I won't be penalised.
