I can't find a way to turn off the move highlight in the Tactics Trainer.  I find the highlights and bright yellow squares extremely distracting.  Is there a way? 

Is there no way to disable the move highlight in the Tactics Trainer, then?  

When i try to play online i can't see board. I see pieces in a row top to down. I want to see pieces left to right. I use opera mini. Nokia asha 202

Unfortunately no, there isn't a way to disable the highlighting.  Sorry for any inconvenience!

Go to Settings > Boards and Pieces > Show legal moves > play on

Since this question was asked almost 6 years ago, it is hard to say, but I believe the OP may have been asking about the highlight showing the last move made, not legal moves.
