I was helping my friend register an account, but he could not get past the username screen. Every time he clicked continue after entering a username, it went back to the registration screen and started over again.
I have cleared both the cache and cookies; neither seems to work. It happens both on mobile (Android, Kiwi Browser) and computer (Windows, Google Chrome)
Does the username screen give the green check?
Yes, the username is available, and they are using my network but not my device

I am also having a similar problem, but my chess.com app worked perfectly until I updated it. It will return me back to the home screen of my phone anytime i try to sign in. I have cleared the storage countless of times and also deleted and install the app 3 or four times but the bug seems to be inevitable regardless.

Chess. com the latest version. Funny story, I can play as guest but the problem happen when I try to log in
iOS or Android?
Android. I can't do any thing apart from playing games on the browser too. I also cannot play videos/lesson videos that is why I abstained from premium membership. All these occur on both app and chrome. Chrome is only better because I can log in via chrome but all the issue continued from there; Not playing videos and all
