Unable to start games on Live Server

There is a persistent problem in Live Chess. I am unable to access the Home tab to start games, and when I go to the friends tab, and click on "play" with one of them, I get the message:

As a basic member you are unable to play or observe multiple games at the same time. You can upgrade to aChess.com Premium membership for pennies a day and get full access to Live Chess and other features like Videos, unlimited Tactics Trainer, and more!

Is there some changes to the membership that I have not heard of?

The chat tab is empty, and no handles can be clicked on to go to profile or private chat, as before. I very much doubt that I was restricted.

Is this a bug?

As far as I know, normal members can not play more than 1 game at the same time in live chess. Only premium members can play simuls. The given error is warning you about that but if you aren't already playing a game, and just trying to start 1 game, I'm pretty sure it is a bug so write a ticket to the staff about it.

It was possible for basic members to play more than one game at a time but today a code push was done on live chess that now restricts basic members to playing one game at a time.

Previous to today, we could play more than one game at a time, that I recall, having done so.

However, why restrict players to one game at a time? Not that I mind so much, although I think that it will be an inconvenience sometimes.

What about observing games? Are there any plans to restrict that too (As per my upgrade message)?
