Urgent help needed. No response to numerous emails to chess.com

I was gifted a month's free diamond membership which expires on 31st August 2023. t I already had a diamond membership. My original was due to expire end of October 2023 but this new gifted membership seems to have replaced it and this one expires in August. Will the months left on my original one be added to the end. I don't want to be in a position where the gifted membership expires and I lose the 2 months I originally had or even worse I get a recurring bill on 1st September for an annual membership. I messaged the chess.com staff member who gave me the membership numerous times and never received a response. I also used the support page to send in a query twice and again no response.

Your original membership should pick up after the gift expires. It should be paused and any remaining time on the original will still be used.

Thanks martin. I appreciate your response but ideally I'd like something formal confirming that if I leave things as they are that I won't incur an annual rebilling charge on 1st September. Sure you can appreciate my concern and unfortunately I had no response to my direct messages to the staff member or through the direct support channel

Direct messages or email to Staff aren't the best way to get answers, even if you worked with them before. They may be off or on vacation. Support generally works through tickets as well.
