she did not sweet talk anybody, she took my advice and explained her situation to chess.com staff in a calm and polite manner and the staff who are always friendly and responsive listened to her request.

Ormiston313: (or my friend John) To answer Yoe question my friend talked me into changing my username as a joke. She was mad and so... Anyway. It was a mistake. I try to be nice cuz I don't like it when people are mean. So I would never want to be mean myself. That's why I was not happy when I found out I might not be able to get my real username back. I thought (and so did alot of people) that I couldn't get my username back. I was prepared to rejoin chess.com and lose everything but decided to wait and see what happened and within 24 hours a chess.com staff member changed my username for me. Yes! So it can be done but my advice to everyone is be careful. Cuz I didn't know you could only change your name once.
Ormiston313: John my friend, I did not sweet talk them. Just explained my problem and they were kind enough to help me. And in a timely fashion. Lets have a cheer and round of applause or chess.com. They have good help and support. And I am thankful for them and this site is awesome. Even if I couldn't have changed my name I would have rejoined and recommend it to others.
