Did you have any conditional moves? I had the exact same thing happen to me after my opponent deviated from my conditional line.

About a week ago I went into my profile and put myself on vacation to pause my games (well, game, I only had one going at the moment because I'd been planning this vacation for a while), and returned to find that I'd lost my game on time. Isn't this what going on vacation is supposed to prevent?
I didn't log back in after I put myself on vacation, so there's no reason I can think of that I should have been taken off vactation, so why did I time out? Worst of all, now my time-out percentage is over 5% (I lost my internet access a couple weeks ago and wasn't quite able to get back online before I timed out on another game), so now will I be able to register for the second chess.com tournament?
Any comments, insights, or suggestions -- especially from the staff -- would be most welcome.
